We're a small, mighty studio helping brave brands look strange, feel human, and stand ridiculously tall. No stock templates. No safe choices.
Six studios in one. Whether you need a whole new identity, a bolder website, or a campaign that stops thumbs mid-scroll, we've got the hands for it.
Logos, systems, guidelines, and the whole visual attitude. We build brands that don't blend in — because who wants to?
Learn more →Websites with personality. Fast, accessible, and full of little moments that make visitors smile and stay.
Learn more →Custom illustration systems and one-off pieces. Hand-drawn, weird, warm, memorable — and always unmistakably yours.
Learn more →From tiny hangtags to bus wraps and everything in between. Design that lives beautifully off-screen.
Learn more →Photo shoots, moodboards, and creative campaigns. We direct so the finished thing feels like nothing else.
Learn more →Loops, reels, explainers, kinetic type. Because sometimes design has to dance a little to be understood.
Learn more →Four honest steps. No agency jargon. No mysterious "phases." Just how we get from your first email to something you can't stop looking at.
We meet, we ask ten questions, we listen to the answers, and we ask ten more. The best design starts with genuine curiosity about you.
We sketch, prototype, and try things that probably shouldn't work. Some don't. The ones that do become the foundation for everything else.
Weird gets refined. We tighten, test, iterate, and polish until every pixel and every word feels intentional. This is where craft lives.
Launch day. We hand you the keys, celebrate together, and stick around to make sure everything blooms exactly the way it should.
Seven humans, one office in Lakewood, and a shared belief that good design is the shortest distance between a brand and the people it wants to reach.
Crazy Dazy Designz began in a converted garage in Lakewood, Colorado, with three founders, a stack of secondhand monitors, and one very opinionated pug named Waffle. We didn't start with a business plan — we started with a shared frustration.
Too many brands looked exactly like their competitors. Too many websites felt like they were built by committee. Too many identities were "safe," "professional," and completely forgettable. We thought design deserved better. We thought clients deserved more. And we thought the world needed a whole lot more color.
Six years later, that garage has become a proper studio, the founders have been joined by four more brilliantly weird humans, and Waffle now supervises meetings from a designated bean bag in the corner. Some things change. The mission doesn't.
These aren't rules. They're the small stubborn convictions that shape every decision, every project, and every late-afternoon studio conversation.
Playing it safe is the fastest way to be forgotten. We push toward surprising, specific, and a little strange — because those are the things people actually remember.
Every kerned letter, every hex code, every micro-interaction is a small act of care. We sweat the details because clients — and their audiences — can feel when someone did.
We talk like humans. Our proposals aren't padded. Our meetings are short. Our critiques are honest. We think it's actually the most respectful way to work.
We stay intentionally small so that your project always has senior hands on it. No account manager buffers. No junior handoffs. Just the people who did the work, doing the work.
Brands that spark delight get remembered, shared, and returned to. Joy isn't decoration — it's the most underused competitive advantage in commercial design.
We're proudly local. Our office is in Lakewood, our lunch is at Sloan's Lake, and our best ideas usually happen on a hike above the treeline. That mountain air ends up in the pixels somehow.
A rotating cast of designers, developers, illustrators, and one certified good boy. Everyone here does real client work — no exceptions.
The name came from a whiteboard scribble that refused to be erased. Our founder Nora, halfway through a very long brainstorm session in the studio's earliest weeks, drew a lopsided daisy in the corner of the board and labeled it "the crazy dazy." Everyone laughed. Then someone said "wait." Then everyone said "yeah, actually."
The daisy — bright, common, easy to draw, impossible to dislike — became our mascot and, in some ways, our design philosophy. Daisies aren't rare or precious. They grow everywhere. They lean toward the light. They're stubbornly cheerful in ditches, sidewalk cracks, and rooftop gardens alike. We wanted the studio to be like that: unpretentious, warm, hard to ignore, and quietly resilient.
The "crazy" part came from what we wanted the work itself to feel like — a little unhinged, a little unexpected, always on the good side of surprising. In an industry that often mistakes "professional" for "predictable," we chose a name that gave us permission to be neither. Every project since then has been a small experiment in how much personality we can pack into a design system without breaking it.
The spelling of "Designz" (with a z) was a joke that stuck. It's the kind of typographical choice we would ordinarily talk a client out of. But on our own name, it felt right — a small wink that says, we know exactly what we're doing, and we're doing it on purpose.

No matter the size, every engagement follows the same honest arc. Here's what to expect from day one to launch day.
A free 30-minute conversation. You tell us about your brand and goals. We ask questions and share what we think we can help with.
Within a week, you'll have a written proposal with scope, timeline, and price. If we're not the right fit, we'll say so and suggest who might be.
A half-day session — in person or over video — where we align on strategy, moods, and success metrics before a single pixel is pushed.
Weekly check-ins, transparent progress boards, and clear feedback loops. No mysterious silences. No end-of-project surprises.
Delivery of everything you need, in every format you need. Plus a proper handoff document so your team can carry the work forward.
We stay available for six months post-launch, no retainer required. If something needs a tune-up, we're a message away.
Our client roster over the past six years has ranged from two-person startups launching their very first product to established regional brands looking for a fresh voice. We work with independent restaurants, boutique consumer product companies, cultural institutions, education nonprofits, tech startups with soul, and the occasional passion project we simply couldn't say no to.
What connects our clients isn't budget or industry — it's a shared willingness to take a swing. The brands we do our best work with are the ones that already have an opinion, a spark, or a stubborn idea about what makes them different. Our job isn't to invent that difference. Our job is to translate it into something the world can see, feel, and remember.
If you have that spark and you're wondering whether we might be a fit, we'd love to hear from you. There's no such thing as a project that's too small, too weird, or too early-stage to discuss. Some of our favorite work has come from clients who reached out with three sentences and a big idea.
Tell us about your project, your brand, or your terrible in-flight coffee. We reply to everything within one business day.
